Frank Schleck

Born on April 18, 1980 (Luxembourg)

licensed at the ACC Contern between 1992 and 1995 and since 2003

Like Kim Kirchen, Frank Schleck has begun his career at the ACC Contern in 1992, in a group of young riders trained by Claude Conter. His older brother Steve was also in the same team. After good results in the youth categories, Frank had been for several years outside Luxembourg, in Italy (De Nardi) and in France. But it is through Marcel Gilles' contacts that he has been offered a preliminary contract for one month with Bjarne Rijs. His good racing results in that month made him get a full contract with the CSC-Team.
